Nelson Mandela Bay Concert Series

Big institutions have a responsibility of developing and empowering growing entities. This will ensure that many people share in the vision of growth and excellence. Love Loud has been appointed by the Port Elizabeth Opera House, hereinafter referred to as The Opera House, to manage and implement the newest of its kind in the Nelson Mandela Bay and Eastern Cape, the Nelson Mandela Bay Concert Series. The arts loving people of this province will be treated to high quality music concerts at regular intervals, monthly to be specific. The Nelson Mandela Bay Concert Series will ensure that the city and the region claim its position on the national radar as the destination of quality music concerts.

The 2014 edition will occur over a five month period, with a concert every month from May-September 2014. Each concert will feature a renown national act as well as local rising stars. The pool for local rising stars will feature artists from across the Eastern Cape. Love Loud will be responsible for the content development and management of the Nelson Mandela Bay Concert Series. The project is funded by the Department of Arts and Culture(artists fees) and the Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality (artists flights and accommodation). Partners are sought in media and other relative components of the project.
