Nelson Mandela Bay Urban Freedom Run

An urban foot race which is based upon the direct, successful, swift traversing of the CBD & surrounding environment via the practical application of techniques, based around the concept of self-preservation. Come race through the city attempting to negotiate obstacles in the most efficient way possible, using only your body. Skills such as jumping, climbing, vaulting, rolling, swinging and wall scaling will be employed. Benefactor of Nelson Mandela Bay's inuagral Urban Run which takes place on Sunday 25th September 2011 will be the Coega Door of Hope with all funds raised being used towards the education costs for the kids.
