NMB Triathlon Championships

Zsports Events SA are super proud to once again host these Championships which will be taking place on Saturday 14th January at Pollok Beach, Nelson Mandela Bay.

Whilst OPEN TO ALL budding triathletes, only Triathlon South Africa (TSA) registered participants will be considered for team selection and Championship medals.


NORMAL ENTRIES CLOSE WED 11th JAN
The Championships will feature:-

Youth Triathlon (12-15 yrs of age) - 350m Swim / 10km Cycle / 2.5km Run
Junior Triathlon (16 - 19 yrs) - 750m Swim / 20km Cycle / 5km Run
Senior Triathlon (20 yrs +) - 1.5km Swim / 40km Cycle / 10km Run
Top 3 age group winners will receive NMBT Championship medals.

The Age Groups for the above Championship events will be defined as follows:-

Youth (12 - 15 yrs)
Junior (16 - 19yrs)
Senior (5 year intervals - 20-24yrs, 25-29yrs, 30-34yrs, ... 80yrs and over)
For the Championship, the age of participant is determined by their age as at 31st December 2023.

Also included in the Program will be Triathlon events for the social / non-registered duathletes and these events include;

Super Sprint Distance (12yrs and older) - as per above distances
Sprint Distance (16 yrs and older) - as per above distances
Standard Distance (20 yrs +) - as per above distances
For these social races there are no finishers medals or any prizes.
