SOUTH AFRICA’S TOP UNIVERSITY CHOIRS FLOCK TO BAY FOR POPULAR CHOIR FESTIVAL
The friendly city is in for a choral sensation as university choirs from all over South Africa make their way to Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University (NMMU) for the much-anticipated Kuesta Univeristy Choir Festival.
The festival will be taking place from the 11th to the 12th of September and will include world-class performances from the University of Johannesburg Choir, the TUKS Camerata Choir, the Stellenbosch University Choir and the NMMU-Choir.
The weekend will consist of several concerts, with the prestigious Gala-show at the Feather Market Centre on Saturday the 12th of September, being the most sought-after. The show promises the audience the ultimate in musical diversity and quality, as all the choirs take the stage to perform their individual repertoires. This spectacular choral experience is available to the public for a mere R85 off Computicket, while students and pensioners only pay R45. Show starts at 16:00.
