Pick n Pay Womens Walk

ROUTE : Beachfront Cycle path towards MacArthur Baths and back to The Something Good (5km’s in total)

TYPE OF EVENT: Women’s Walking Event – 5km

EVENT DETAILS : Pick n Pay Women's Walk is a series of nationwide 5km walks to raise funds to support free cancer screening and health advice in local communities. All funds raised will go towards the Pink Drive. The Pink Drive Educational / Mammography Truck will also be present on event days to provide free cancer screening and health related information. Event co-sponsors include Cipla, M-Net Cares and PnP4Energi Drink.

Entrants can collect their race numbers, t-shirt and event details 2 days before each event from the stores entered. Entries cost R30 for adults and R15 for children under 18 years.

Pink Drive donations can be made upon entry or at tills at any Pick n Pay Store Nationwide for the month of October.

The remaining events are scheduled to take place throughout a 12 month series until October 2012.
