PoeticSoul's Her Words invites Vatiswa Ndara
Lelethu PoeticSoul Mahambehlala’s HER WORDS seeks to amplify the voice of women by firstly showcasing female artists in the Eastern Cape and possibly the rest of South Africa, who work in any art form. The artists will be showcased on the last Thursday of every second month.
The 45 minute performance driven by a particular theme will be followed by 20 minutes of the audience in attendance engaging in a networking session over light snacks. Thereafter another 20minutes will be dedicated to a ‘talk’ session led by the host Lelethu Mahambehlala where the audience will bounce off their thoughts on the theme presented by the performing artist.  In this manner, the 90 minutes,  will have managed to elevate the status of art in the community, unifying women and the audience, and discussing topics that women may find to be difficult to tackle in their own private spaces.
