Our Puss in Boots begins with Fairy Princess Selena being hauled over the coals for her bad report card and bad behaviour at school in Fairyland. As punishment, she is sent to earth in disguise as a Cat to make amends and to help some humans!
She meets Chris, the son of a miller who has recently passed away. Chris's nasty brothers, Willie and Wallie, have just sold the mill to the unscrupulous Baron Smogvelt and left him with nothing but the cat. Chris has ensured that he paid his fathers debts and these villagers come to his aid, giving him Cobbler work and a place to stay. Willie and Wallie take off with Bess to seek their fortune. Chris had hoped to marry Bess.
In the interim, the royal household is in financial difficulty, as the King has also passed away and left many debts. The Queen is keen to marry off her daughter, Princess Antonia, to the wealthiest man in the country – Baron Smogvelt. Princess Antonia and Chris accidently meet and fall head over heels in love, but Chris is not aware that she is the Princess. And this is where Puss in Boots decides to step in. With all sorts of plots and plans, she ensures that Chris and Antonia will be together forever.
All of this takes place in the land of the Ogre, who sends out daily challenges to the people of the land to fight him and take over his wealth. We meet his macabre staff, Baron Smogvelt captures Puss in Boots and drops her off as an edible gift for the Ogre, Chris comes to the rescue, the villagers are in on the gossip of the day and after many challenges and adventures, finally all ends happily ever after, as any good Fairy Tale should!
