RAISING THE CURTAIN!

The dynamic duo of Mo and Niqui will take to the brand new PEMADS Athenaeum Long Room in a somewhat funny, somewhat sentimental montage of highlights from some of their previous award-winning shows.

In this rollercoaster cabaret the ladies demonstrate their inimitable vocal and comic skills as they chat and sing their way through numbers from hit shows like CURTAIN CALL; KILTS, CELTS and WELSH RAREBITS; 50 SHADES OF EVE, and their latest project, KISS MY COUNTRY BUMPKIN. Some of the songs audiences can look forward to include the sultry Cher hit DARK LADY; the sassy SANDRA DEE from Grease; the power duet by Liza Minnelli and Donna Summer, DOES HE LOVE YOU; Marelize’s heart-wrenching version of Anne Murray’s A LITTLE GOOD NEWS and Niqui’s hilarious parody versions of STAND (ON) YOUR MAN and IT’S MY (BODY) AND I’ll CRY IF I WANT TO.

Niqui and Marelize are both acclaimed actresses and singers, both having appeared on television and both having won awards for local theatre and musical achievements.

The show runs at the PEMADS Athenaeum on Wednesday the 17th, Thursday the 18th and Saturday the 20th of April from 7:30pm.

Patrons are welcome to bring snacks and take advantage of the bar.
