Salem Moravian Bands Memorial Concert

On Sunday 30th April 2017 at 3pm, the Salem Moravian Bands will present a memorial concert, dedicated to all players who passed on before us.

This concert will consist of well-known musical items like, “Hallelujah" arranged by a member of the band, Antonio Lawack.
“The Heavens are Telling” transcribed for brass by a former leader of the band, the late James Hitzeroth,
and “Pie Jesu” transcribed for us by another member of our the band, Alex Hitzeroth with beautiful vocals sung by Cathy- Jane Mintoor and Terry-Ann Julies and lots more!

The stage will be seated with more than 50 players, many of who are descendants of deceased players.
So, be sure to get your ticket and share in our joy in recognising those that passed on before us.
Tickets for the concert will be R50 and will be available from band members.
