Spud author John Van de Ruit book signing at the Ron Belling Art Gallery

Author of the best-selling Spud books, John van de Ruit, will be in Port Elizabeth to give a talk at a book signing hosted by Child Welfare South Africa (CWSA) on Friday, March 8.

Van de Ruit is the author of “Spud”, “Spud- The madness continues”, “Spud- Learning to Fly”, and his latest Spud book “Spud- Exit, Pursued by a Bear Events”.

He is coming to the Eastern Cape with actor and comedian Aaron McIlroy and Ben Voss - who is “better known for dressing up in women’s clothing”.

The three will be performing in “The Rise of…..The Insanity League”.

The book signing will take place at the Ron Belling Art Gallery which can be found at number 30 Park Drive, Port Elizabeth where guests will be treated to cocktails (If over eighteen) and snacks.

Entry fee is R50.00 for scholars and R100.00 for adults and all the proceeds will go to the Child Welfare in the Eastern Cape.

The event starts at five in the afternoon.
