Squat For A Cause

Fitness instructor and Miss Port Elizabeth 2019 finalist, Kayleen Lottering has partnered with the Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality to embark on a challenge of doing a total of 408 jump squats (204 up and 204 down) at Port Elizabeth’s well- known landmark, the Campanile.
The 50m high Campanile, offers a magnificent view of the harbour and surroundings, more than 52cm above the city situated at Strand Street, Central.
This challenge will be in aid of raising funds (you may request for banking details)/donations in the form of unused clothing, non- perishable items, stationary, toys, building materials, and more, as her role as one of the Miss PE 2019 finalists for the Role Models foundation who hosts philanthropic pageants and intervenes in impoverished communities throughout South Africa, specifically supporting the 3 most vulnerable groups within the community:
1) Pre-school children and youth - Imfundo Educare
2) Abused women and children as well as single mothers-Asante’ Neo Life
3) Senior citizens -Tamakhulu Project

As of 9:00am the Campanile will be open to the public as per normal.
