The Boardwalk sets out to entertain this Easter

It will be an action-packed weekend for the whole family at The Boardwalk this Easter.
“As the metro’s tourism and leisure hot-spot, we have made sure that there is plenty to keep all ages amused and entertained over Easter,” says The Boardwalk public relations and entertainment manager Caley Phillips.
Kids can have their photos taken with the Easter Bunny at Zoomwiz, enter the Croods colour-in competition, decorate biscuits, pin a tail on the donkey, have their faces painted and hunt for eggs – all while the rest of the family browses the unique selection of Boardwalk shops, enjoys coffee or a snack.
“Be sure to come and see the new-look Craft Workshop, which opens on March 28,” she says.
For over 18’s the free after-dark entertainment in the casino’s Action Bar includes Charmaine Allison with DJ Pete Larkin on Friday, March 29, Chapter Three on the Saturday night and Lee-Ann Wales with her unique mix of R&B Soul Jazz on Sunday afternoon.
On Good Friday, comedy lovers are invited Celebrate Easter with an aching tummy - not from all the sweet Easter Eggs - but from laughing a bit out loud in the Vodacom Amphitheatre. Darren Maule better known for his role on the hit TV series survivor will be the host for the evening.
He will be joined by Ndumiso Lindi who is known for his trademark hat and funky urban stylish look and Jason Goliath. Goliath says he couldn’t put all his funny into a small body, so he expanded it to a larger physique to keep his fans Easter weight off by keeping them on the edge of their seats.

On Saturday, March 30 at eight in the evening Midea Events and Promotions is presenting “the best that Cape Town has to offer” with a new show called “Cape Town in concert", featuring Gavin Roman, according to Kader Miller of Midea Promotions.
Roman has taken Cape Town by storm with his soulful voice and his own interpretation of old and new songs.
Joining him on stage will be Saadiqa Davids, Janine Cupido and Zubair Vardien. Tickets are available from Computicket for R100.00.
There is also free entertainment on complex throughout the day, plus the latest Rhapsody on Water Multimedia Fountain Spectacular show.
“This is a whole new show that sends shivers down your spine it is so beautiful,” says Phillips.
Ending off on a high be sure to catch Prime Circle, who will be in the Vodacom Amphitheatre on Sunday, March 31.The show will start at eight in the evening and tickets can be bought from Computicket at R140.00 per person.
Then, on April six there will be an Indian Comedy show with the popular Murthu Murigan.
