Lefra Productions in association with Prism Music Group and Treadwells are pleased to announce that the international renowned group, The Drifters, will be touring South Africa from 3-13 April as part of their 60th Anniversary World Tour, The Drifters Diamond Dynasty World Tour. The Drifters will be touring South Africa for the first time in over 30 years! Featuring the current line up, Pierre Herelle, Michael Williams, Ryan King and Carlton Powell, who themselves received gold disks from Sony for the first new recordings in over 30 years in 2013. Billed as the `Diamond Dynasty World Tour`, the concert is the best to date celebrating the timeless appeal of the brands hits over the last 60 years. The current recording line up of The Drifters will perform the group`s greatest hits and new material recorded by them from album releases 2009 Five Decades and Moore (Atlantic/Rhino) and 2011 Up on the Roof the greatest hits album (Sony Music). In this extravaganza of musical hits from their successful back catalogue with amazing lighting show and a world class band a night of pure excellence will be enjoyed by all!
