Headliner at the One Blood Festival Jean Grae is an international Hip-hop artist, a cultural icon, all-round creative also known in South Africa as Abdullah Ibrahim’s daughter. She will perform at the One Blood Festival in support of the Artworks for Youth program, and for the pleasure of all Hip Hop fans.
The One Blood Music Festival will be taking place from 1pm until 11pm at the Grand Hotel. The Festival will also feature Australian slam poet champion Luka Lesson, Cape Town band D’versCT and the following artists from Mandela Bay: Asanda Mqiki (Jazz), Rob Thompson (Blues), Skank N Roots (Reggae), Umle and local Hip Hop artists such as Schaik, Jbux, Hishaam and Adon Geel. For the first time since its inception in 2010 the One Blood Music Festival will have a cover charge of R60 in order to raise funds in favour of Artworks for youth.
