Cry Africa

Imbumba Theatre Company and The PE Opera House present Cry Africa. Cry Africa written and Choreographed by Makhosi Dingiswayo, is a moving dance movement that treads over the wounds caused by civil wars that leaves people gashed and eternally maimed across many parts of Africa. These people are forced to abandon their homes and come to South Africa hoping for refuge. Instead we welcome them with further insults and inflict more pain born out of self-hatred by Africans.

Cry Africa will be at the Barn Theatre on the 20th till the 23rd of April 2016. From 20th until 22nd the shows start at 19:00 while on 23rd there will be two shows at 14:00 and 19:00.
