The Port Elizabeth Gilbert & Sullivan Society's Annual Carols Evening
G&S Family Carols
Sing in the Christmas season at the PE G&S Society’s annual carols evening on Wednesday 4th December, 6.30 for 7.00pm at the Savoy Theatre. This will be our 10th Carols Evening where we celebrate the season and share the joy of giving with Maranatha Children’s Home. Join us for a great evening of sing-along carols, special guests and Christmas cheer with table seating so you can bring along a picnic basket and enjoy all the fun with the whole family.
This year our special guests include the Maranatha Choir, Harrison Nash and some amazing soloists from the G&S family plus our rousing 12 days of Christmas South African style. All this as well as your favourite sing along carols.
Entry is just R30 per person or R90 for a family (2 adults and 2 children) and you can pre-book your seats with Rose on 072 906 1977. Your entry includes your carols song sheet.
We encourage all carollers to share the Christmas joy and bring along gifts, toys, clothing or food items for the Maranatha Children’s Home. Maranatha’s Mission is to create opportunities for children and adults to restore their broken lives and give them hope for the future. Established in 2002, Maranatha addresses the physical, emotional, intellectual and spiritual needs of Port Elizabeth’s homeless and unemployed (particularly street-children and children at risk), challenging individuals to take responsibility for their lives and become self-sustaining.
The Savoy Theatre has a fully stocked Bar and Coffee bar for your convenience. Call Rose on 072 906 1977 for any enquiries or to pre-book your seats.
