The evening will start with a free seal and penguin show at the Oceanarium. Apart from a 20-minute video (entitled, “The Story of Stuff”), there will be four short presentations, including a prize-giving for a schools recycling competition where learners build a person or an animal out of recyclable materials. The rest of the evening will be open, allowing visitors to view the exhibitions, purchase refreshments (in biodegradable or recyclable containers), and mingle. Various exhibitors will display aspects of mankind’s impact on the environment, and environmentally friendly alternatives.
