This year`s 21st birthday Showtime musical revue, Travelling Light, will, for the first time in its main season, be presented in cabaret style with patrons at tables. The material in the show is drawn from stage and screen musicals about travelling shows such as Carnival (stage version of the movie, Lili), Carousel (set in a carnival); Annie Get Your Gun (Wild West Show), Barnum and Billy Rose`s Jumbo (circus musicals), The Good Companions (British concert party),Show Boat (Mississippi River Boat) etc.

With a core acting and singing cast of nine, plus a troupe of 14 dancers, the show is devised and written, with dialogue direction, by Showtime concept creator, Bob Eveleigh, with staging and choreography by Heidi Horowitz and Lauren Stow and musical and vocal direction by Bronwyn Maree.
