UDlangamandla Live

One of one, uDlangamandla operates within his own realm of music. A true genre-bending musician and performer who operates between Jazz, classical and rap music. His lyrics are stories told from the lens of a young black male living in South Africa, stories seen and felt directly from his life experiences and those around him. With Euphonium in hand, he evokes emotions that only the Euphonium can with its sweet high registry and the round and robust lows.

Born in Gqeberha, Eastern Cape. He embarked on his musical journey in primary school through to high school, after high school went on to study sound engineering at SAE. This was where he learnt his craft with regards to production and fell in love with the art of storytelling (rapping). Having been performing under the moniker ‘Homes’, he performed at various events, most notably GQ best dressed. Now having changed to uDlangamandla, he embarks on a new journey having taken all that he’s learnt and putting it together with his instrument, making for one of the most interesting and exciting musicians in the continent. This is his first show back home and promises to be a night to remember.
