Uniting the Community One Hike at a time
Hiking the Kloof, exploring the beauty within our Northern Areas, loving nature and loving life. The fight of our lives will be hosting a day in nature, where we will hike the kloof and enjoy various activities afterwards that further encourage teamwork and love for our neighbour.
What does hiking do?
Lower your risk of heart disease. Improve your blood pressure and blood sugar levels. Boost bone density, since walking is a weight-bearing exercise. Build strength in your glutes, quadriceps, hamstrings, and the muscles in your hips and lower legs.
No hiker left behind! It increases support, community and teamwork. It keeps the vibe right.
The northern areas needs more activities that encourages unity during a time when its needed most. Our aim is surround our youth with more positive programs to show them that there are better things in life then joining a gang.
After the hike we would like to invite motivational speakers and x criminals to encourage the youth on a better way of life. We will also invite various artists that’s home grown northern areas.
We also encourage all parents to join in this fun filled day and be part of the change that we want to see.
This is the fight our lives and its time we win.
