VICTORIA PARK / POWERADE SOCCER CHALLENGE

Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape – Victoria Park High School will present the 11th Annual
Victoria Park Powerade Soccer Challenge, taking place at the Dave Weinronk Sports
Complex, Union Road, Walmer on 20 – 22 March 2014, featuring the best girls’ and
boys’ soccer teams from Port Elizabeth, East London and Bloemfontein.

Powerade is the proud sponsor of this prestigious event which will see 34 teams (8 girls,
10 U/16 boys and 16 U/19 boys) come together to play for the winner’s title.

The tournament will be played on a round-robin basis, after which the teams will play for
tournament positions ensuring that all girls’ teams will play 5 matches, U/16 teams up to
6 matches and U/19 teams up to 7 matches. Overall, the tournament which kicks off at
11am on 20 March will host 97 matches with finals kicking off at 11:05am (girls), 12:05
(U/16 boys) and 13:05 (U/19 boys) on 22 March.
