This year will see the Whale Festival taking place on the 4th June to kick off the first of several festivals held along our coastline. Lloyd Edwards, after years of welcoming the whales on his Raggy Charter cruises started the Festival in 2018 at Pine Lodge. The festival has grown, and the focus remains celebration and education around everything whale and ocean!

2 talks on morning of 4th June at Willows: Lloyd Edwards of Raggy Charters talking on the the Annual Whale Migration and Whale Entanglements & Prof of WITS Univ Julien Benoit talking on "Evolution of Dolphins Brain and Intelligence" Food truck and Educational stalls (all marine related) Watch out for a sunrise cruise special with Raggy Charters, Fun and educational activities for all ages and various tours on the day.
