This exhibition is comprised of the works of participants in the artEC Young Artists Development Programme. The Programme, started in 2011, and currently based at St. Thomas High School in Gelvandale and Zama centre in New Brighton, introduces learners from schools where art is not offered as a subject to a variety of media and approaches to art-making, including ceramics, drawing, print-making, painting, illustration and textile design. It aims to facilitate the development of creative problem solving skills, and hand-eye-brain coordination, as well as making learners aware of career options in visual arts and design. Works produced are a reflection of the creative growth of the programme's participants.
