When you make a booking at Jabula Lodge you are entering into a formal agreement with us and are accepting our terms and conditions. Please ensure that you read the following thoroughly.
Booking
We reserve the right to change your room with out prior notice. We reserve the right to refuse a booking.
Please note that all rooms are allocated on a 'first come first served basis' and are subject to availability. Whilst we endeavour to meet all of your requirements, sometimes circumstances beyond our control mean those requirements cannot be met.
To confirm your booking we require full details of a credit card when making a manual booking.
Check-in and check-out
You can check-in from 2pm on the date of arrival. It may be possible to check-in earlier, but only by prior arrangement. If you wish to check-in any later than 9.30pm, you should give us at least 24 hrs notice.
You must check-out before 10.00am on the date of departure.
Rates and payment
The rate for each room is as agreed at the time of booking and charges are per room . All prices exclude breakfast, unless otherwise stated.
Jabula Lodge advertises with other organisations and publications. We are not liable for any inaccurate information provided by third parties, including information regarding prices.
We accept all major credit cards online and debit cards on our premises. EFT transactions are in actual fact better.
Please note that all advertised special offers are subject to availability and for specific advertised periods. Special offers are not available at peak times.
Cancellations
Once you have booked your stay, our agreement is a legal contract and any deposit you may have paid is non-refundable.
Cancellations made up to 7 days before your date of arrival will not incur any charges.
Cancellations made any later than 10am on the day 48 hours before you are due to arrive or if you simply fail to turn up on the day of your booking, will incur the full cost of your booking.
We reserve the right to cancel your booking. We may do this if the accommodation booked is not available for reasons beyond our control. In such circumstances, we would offer you alternative accommodation or refund all monies paid. We would not be liable for any further payments.
Rooms
All children under the age of 14 years must be accompanied by an adult at all times and may not stay in separate rooms on their own. We do not have special rates for children and bookings apply for each child as a person booking, all rates apply.
Pets
You may bring dogs to Jabula Lodge at an additional charge of R200 per dog per stay. You must obtain prior agreement to bring dogs and that agreement is subject to the following conditions;
*We do not provide any pet food or bedding.
* Please do not allow your dogs to foul the property.
*You will be expected to provide and use any necessary cleaning materials.
* All dogs must be kept on a lead at all times when on our property and untrained dogs should not be left unsupervised in bedrooms.
* Dogs are not allowed in food serving areas.
* The full cost of any damages caused will be added to your final bill.
Damages
You are responsible and liable for any breakages or damages which you cause to the property or its contents. Please report any damages immediately. We do not normally charge for minor breakages, but we may charge you for repair or making good if the damage or breakage is significant. You may incur additional charge if you do not report damages.
Liability
We do not accept any liability for any damage, loss or injury to any member of your party, vehicles or possessions, unless the damage can be proven to be caused by a negligent act by ourselves, our employees or contractors whilst acting in the course of employment

Same day booking require immediate payment or accommodation voucher or payment from credit card details as supplied by guest
Should your stay be for 1 night only 100 % deposit payment confirms / secures your accommodation booking
Should your booking be 15 days or less before the date of initial arrival we reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to charge the full amount ( 100 % ) of the booking value to confirm the reservation
Should your stay be for 2 nights or longer 50 % deposit payment confirms / secures your accommodation booking and the booking made more than 15 days in advance

PARKING
Remote controlled access to secure free parking. Losing your Room Keys and Remote will be for your cost. Before Departure Lost Key Fees R400.00

CANCELLATION POLICY
Insurance: To avoid any misunderstanding ~ a booking constitutes a binding contract. All guests confirming a booking are advised to take out insurance to cover the full cost of their accommodation in the event of a cancellation.
Only signed and written/text cancellations will be accepted
Should you cancel the booking or you do not arrive or you do not complete your stay, the following cancellation policy will be instituted
Any cancellation of a confirmed booking done by means of an issued accommodation voucher - Guest will be liable for all optional extras and accommodation booked
Should a guest cancel his /her/their confirmed / secured booking 30 days or longer before the initial arrival date the guest shall be liable for payment of 50 % for the stay that was booked
Should a guest cancel his /her/their confirmed / secured booking 15 - 29 days before the initial arrival date the guest shall be liable for payment of 75 % for the stay that was booked
Should a guest cancel his /her/their confirmed / secured booking 0 - 14 days before the initial arrival date the guest shall be liable for payment of 100 % for the stay that was booked, this includes a no-show
Not completing stay of reservation
Refunds (if any) will be done within 15 (fifteen) working days, after the initial date of cancellation or overpayment and only after payment has been cleared by our bankers and into the same account / credit card the payment was received from and the guest will be liable for all bank charges and other costs incurred in respect of the booking & refund
