5150 Bela Bela Triathlon entries closing end of July
Things are hotting up on the 5150 Bela Bela front with the closing date for entries, 30 July, fast approaching. Entries have already exceeded last year’s numbers.

The 2012 edition for the 5150 Bela Bela Triathlon promises to be one of the most exciting yet and with entries streaming in excitement is already high amongst athletes. Utilising the winning formula of the world’s most popular triathlon distance and similar infrastructure seen at Ironman and Ironman 70.3, this is one race that should not be missed.

The 5150 Bela Bela Triathlon is the perfect race for novice as well as serious triathletes. There’s no better way to get into triathlon as the open water swim is wetsuit legal and takes place in a ski-dam that is shallow enough to stand in at its deepest point. The bike course is tough and offers a serious challenge while the fast and flat run takes place entirely within the Forever Resorts Warmbaths complex.

In addition to the awesome race action, the atmosphere on race day truly adds to the fun and excitement with the Forever Resorts Warmbaths offering a discounted day entry rate of R50 per non-resident spectator on race day. Immediately after the race, the 5150 Awards Ceremony and Finish Line party on the red carpet will end the festivities off on a high. Athletes and spectators can have a great time with the Distell Tent and Spur Tent open to athletes and the public offering great food and refreshments.

Entry fee to this premium triathlon event is R800 for individuals and R1000 for teams. Entries close 30 July so get online to www.5150.co.za and book your place on the starting line of Africa’s best standard distance triathlon.
