Nelson Mandela Bay Tourism (NMBT) has recently branded the Port Elizabeth Airport as part of their plans to brand Nelson Mandela Bay and prepare the City for the 2010 FIFA World CupTM. The branding is strategically placed just outside the arrivals and departures terminals of the Airport.

 
The branding displays Nelson Mandela Bay as South Africa’s new investment hotspot as well as invites visitors to enjoy all it has to offer and invest in the quality lifestyle of the Bay. The branding also features the ‘feel it in the air’ campaign that echoes the City’s excitement for the world cup.
 
The main aim of the branding is to allow foreign visitors to know that Nelson Mandela Bay is a world class destination with world class investment opportunities, activities, accommodation and infrastructure. The branding also encourages visitors to visit the revamped Airport Visitor Information Centre to gain access to everything Nelson Mandela Bay has to offer. It fuels curiosity among visitors to ask questions and learn more about our city.
 
Together with other projects running concurrently to the Airport branding, NMBT is vigorously preparing their staff as well as the rest of Nelson Mandela Bay to manage the influx of tourists and encourage them to return to our beautiful city.
