BIG ATTRACTION: WALMER GOLF CLUB -

The Walmer Park Golf Club, fondly known as Little Walmer, is one of the oldest golf clubs in South Africa. It is a nine-hole course with 18 different tee-boxes. Surrounded by a brand new golfing estate, it provides any golfer with many challenging holes, regardless of handicap. It’s signature hole is the par-three sixth, which is only 127 meters long, but one’s tee shot must be accurate to avoid getting the ball wet in the pond, which extends right up to the green.

When the estate was established in 2005, a new clubhouse was built, as well as five new challenging greens. A state-of-the-art water reticulation system ensuring well-watered fairways and greens throughout the year, was also installed. The Club House is a two-storied building with all the necessary and modern facilities. The bar will quench your thirst satisfactorily after a good round of golf. Excellent caterers provide nourishing halfway house refreshments, as well as outstanding meals at reasonable prices.

Pumba Private Game Reserve & Spa provides a premium game viewing experience not soon to be forgotten. View the famous Big 5 (lions, leopards, buffalos, rhinos and elephants) or the vast array of more than 250 species of bird. Search for over 60 different species of mammals and have the rare opportunity of seeing the magnificent White Lion stalking prey or lazing around in its natural environment.
