Brazilian Fiesta meets Bay Splash
One of Brazil’s most popular Brazilian-African groups, Napalma, will be bringing the energy and sounds of the Rio Carnival to the 2012 Splash Festival, which will take place in Nelson Mandela Bay from 6 – 9 April at Hobie Beach.

The group takes to the stage from a 9:45 in the evening on Saturday, April 7.

Napalma is a musical inspiration born out of interaction between Brazil and Africa.

Created in Vitoria, Brazil, in 2004, Napalma has been setting dance floors on fire with musical energy wherever it goes.

The group’s sound blends Brazilian, African and Latin beats with electronic sounds such as breakbeat, drum and bass, house, techno, and much more to create something which the group describes as “a little Carnival, a little Ibiza, and a lot of party”.
