Dockside Brewery tasting room
Dockside Brewery opened in the Baakens Valley, for manufacturing only. It didn’t take long for them to out grow and have the need to expand in order to accommodate the requests they received for function bookings.
Dockside Brewery was inspired and created by a dynamic Husband and wife team. Following a passion, a Jack of all trades but master of one Karl Schlaphoff followed his dream, used all hisskills and started to build an artisan brewery.
You can now find them in their new tasting room, located at The Grand Hotel’s Dungeon, Belmont Terrace, Central, ( entrance in Whites road) make sure you call before stopping ( 083 273 7505) in for a visit, better yet make a booking for a Dockside Experience for you and your friends or corporate function.
The Artisan beers that you will experience are like no other beers you have ever had. Supporting local only to watch their carbon foot print, this beer is crafted with passion. Fresh Elands River Valley natural spring water is used in the brewing process to make sure only the purist ingredients are used. Beer lovers will appreciate not only the story but the traditional brewing process. There are currently 11 different beers, there is one beer for every one. If not they’ll make sure in the future there one for you.
