Visitors to Nelson Mandela Bay can get a free one-day NMB Pass when booking their accommodation through Nelson Mandela Bay Tourism.
The Nelson Mandela Bay Pass, a smartcard access, provides you with free or discounted admission to a variety of attractions and activities in Nelson Mandela Bay, this includes Port Elizabeth, Uitenhage, Despatch and Colchester.
Participating attractions include museums, game reserves, scuba diving, art galleries, sightseeing tours and many more. The card, which is being given away free to visitors booking accommodation through NMBT, opens the way for some great discounted offers at selected shops, restaurants, entertainment and more.
“The offer is our way of marketing our city’s accommodation and encouraging visitors to really take in the sights and attractions. The pass gives tourists the opportunity to enjoy more of Nelson Mandela Bay for less with great discounts and offers,” said NMBT reservations coordinator, Doné Louw.
All you need to do is book accommodation over the value of R1 000 and you will receive a one-day pass. This is limited to one pass per R1 000 spent per person. If more than one person has to be accommodated, all you have to do to get an additional pass for others is spend another R1 000 per person. So, if you are two people in the group you need to spend R2 000 in total on accommodation to get two one-day passes. The booking value is based on the full duration of the stay and has to be for consecutive nights.
To qualify for this great deal, simply inform the booking agent that you want to book the NMB Pass accommodation deal. They will then assist you with your accommodation needs, book and confirm the accommodation, and issue you with your one-day pass.
This deal is only applicable when booking with Nelson Mandela Bay member accommodation establishments and only when booking through any of the Nelson Mandela Bay Tourism Visitor Information Centres, the NMBT Call Centre or NMBT website. Passes will only be issued when proof of payment for the accommodation is provided. Validity of this offer is at the discretion of NMBT.
“At the end, we trust that this special offer will create more awareness on what the city has to offer and will encourage visitors to extend their stay because there is just so much more to see and do. Not only is this great for the city but it is also another way in which we can add value to our members ” Louw added.
