Local companies and social teams are expected to take up the challenge of the Investec Night Relay which starts on Thursday evening and will consist of 4 races on a monthly basis between Thursday 15th May and the Thursday 14th August this year.
Hosted by the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium, the Investec Night Relay is a popular corporate relay event for teams of 5 runners or 3 walkers with each team member completing a 5km lap around the stadium and lake precinct. "The Series is not only a fun corporate team building opportunity but also a challenge on urban renewal in our city and an opportunity for companies to play a role in supporting local charities. This year the Investec Night Relay will be supporting the ACVV Kamvalethu Drop-in Centre, the only drop-in centre for street children in Port Elizabeth situated near the Stadium precinct." said Cumesh Moodliar, the Regional Head of the Specialist Bank.
