Iron Girl South Africa entries extended

A wave of pink is set to hit the Port Elizabeth Beach Front on Friday 20 April 2012 when Iron Girl South Africa rolls into town for the second time. Entries are set to exceed the 1000 mark this year and due to popular demand,
online entries have been  extended until Friday 13 April and in addition, manual entries will be taken at Triangle Sports, 161 Main Road Walmer.

If you feel that you've missed out, don't despair as athletes now have the opportunity to get their names on the starter's list and be part of one of the year's most exciting events in Nelson Mandela Bay.  Athletes will be able to enter manually at Triangle Sports from Wednesday 4 April until Friday 13 April from 09h00 to 17h00. Manual entries will be moved to the Radisson Blu Hotel from Monday 16 April and will run until Wednesday 18 April.

Iron Girl South Africa is a woman's-only 10km fun run with the aim of encouraging women of all fitness levels to adopt a healthy, active lifestyle while taking part in a professionally organised, fun event. The event is open to women from the age of 14 and can be done either individually or as part of a mother-daughter team. Great prizes will be up for grabs for the top three in each age category and for the first mother-daughter team. Runners and walkers are welcome.

Entries are R100 for individuals and R200 for mother-daughter teams and each entrant receives a free K-Swiss Iron Girl race top and each finisher receives an Iron Girl medal and downloadable certificate.
