IRONMAN South Africa entries closing Friday

Entries for the Spec-Savers Ironman South Africa close at midnight on Friday 23 March 2012. This is the last chance to be part of one of the most awe-inspiring events on the planet.
 
Around 1800 athletes will be gearing up to take on the only Ironman on the African continent, so if you want to add your name to starter’s list and line up on Hobie Beach on April 22nd,  now is the time to get online and register.
 
The 8th edition of the Spec-Savers Ironman South Africa promises to be the best one yet, with around 45 000 spectators flocking to Hobie Beach during race weekend to soak up the atmosphere and be part of the Africa’s premier endurance event. A 17 hour non-stop party atmosphere, DJ’s, dancers, cheerleaders and red hot racing action from some of the world’s top triathletes is what athletes and spectators can expect.
