Kasi Delivery Hosts the 2nd Annual Kasi Food Festival in Gqeberha, Celebrating Township Entrepreneurs and Local Cuisine

Kasi Delivery is thrilled to announce the upcoming 2nd Annual Kasi Food Festival,
a vibrant celebration dedicated to showcasing the culinary talents and entrepreneurial spirit of Gqeberha's township food vendors.

This two-day event, taking place on 2nd and 3rd November 2024 at Funimfundo Sport Ground in Veeplaas, is poised to spotlight the rich flavours and community of the township economy, fostering
economic growth and supporting small businesses in the region.

The Kasi Food Festival not only offers a feast of unique and authentic township dishes but also serves as a platform for business empowerment. With support from key organizations such as the Eastern Cape Development Corporation (ECDC), the Department of Economic Development, Environmental Affairs and Tourism (DEDEAT), Small Enterprise Development Agency (SEDA), and Economic Development, Tourism and Agriculture (EDTA), the festival stands as a testament to the power of collaboration in driving economic development within townships.

On the second day of the event, November 3rd, a Business Dialogue Session will open the festival's activities.
This session will focus on essential topics for township businesses, including economic development strategies,
financial support, and networking opportunities. The panel will feature distinguished speakers from government
financial agencies and the Department of Economic Development, Environmental Affairs and Tourism (DEDEAT),
with special attendance by MEC Pieters. This dialogue promises to be a valuable forum for entrepreneurs
seeking insights into expanding their operations and engaging with new business resources.

Throughout both days, attendees can look forward to live entertainment from popular local artists, creating an
