MYCITYTALK AND BUSINESS EXPO

20 June 2017
MYCITYTALK AND BUSINESS EXPO

We are excited to announce the return of the popular MyCityTalk event hosted in conjunction of the 4th annual Business Expo taking place on 29 June at Father’s House Church building in Paterson Road.

It was one of our most popular events in 2015 – hosted alongside the NMB Investor Seminar.

It is a high-paced event, with 20 top speakers who each has 15-minutes to talk on a topic of interest to our audience (Venue can accommodate 2000 people at one time). We have phenomenal speakers of high caliber such as Khusta Jack, Dr. Pierre Voges, Dr Randal Jonas and local business guru’s gracing our stage this year.

The response from the public thus far has been of disbelief that an event of this caliber can take place in the city without any cost. We fiercely believe that information should be free, there are enough things we have to pay for on a daily basis. Information to gain knowledge from powerful personalities should not be one of them. Free registration will take place on the day of the event.

This year we decided that it is time to give back to the community by donating 5% of all profits raised to the St Francis Hospice. The Hospice provides palliative care to the terminally ill in the Nelson Mandela Bay Metro and truly deliver a much needed service to those in need. We endorse the Hospice Hero Campaign where you can become a hero by simply donating R50/R100 a month via debit order form. Find them at the Expo to see how you can become a “Superhero” in your community.

We haven’t forgotten about our Entrepreneurs in the city – those who try so hard to make a living and a success of their business.

This year, one lucky start-up will win the following prizes: A complete Business Registration from Shelf Company Warehouse, A Maxi-MBA course from the Business Place, an online registration from NSBN and a Growth Readiness Index Tool from KPMG. All they have to do is to bring a one-page introduction of the business idea with their contact details and why they think they should win. Entry closes at 10am in the morning and the winner will be announced at 16:30 in the afternoon.

We would appreciate it if you can spread the good news to the public through your vast network and audience you reach.
