Nelson Mandela University Windband to Present an Evening of Outstanding Musical Talent

GQEBERHA – Music lovers are invited to enjoy an inspiring evening of live music when the Nelson Mandela University Department of Music and Performing Arts presents its Windband Concert on Friday, 31 July 2026 at the Nelson Mandela University South Campus Auditorium.

The concert will showcase the exceptional talent of the Nelson Mandela University Windband, featuring a varied and engaging programme under the direction of acclaimed conductor Dario Broccardo and third-year Bachelor of Music student Akho Mtakatya.

Adding to the evening's programme will be a special two-piano performance by talented BMus students Amy Elliott and Matthew Schreiber, highlighting the depth of musical excellence being nurtured within the University's Department of Music and Performing Arts.

Audiences can look forward to an evening of dynamic performances, showcasing the versatility, passion and artistry of both students and staff.
