NMB INVESTOR SEMINAR 2015 PROVIDES ENTREPRENEURIAL OPPORTUNITY TO YOUTH
PORT ELIZABETH - Now going into its 3rd consecutive year, the day-long Nelson Mandela Bay Investor Seminar will be taking place on Wednesday, 17 June 2015 at NMB Stadium, Port Elizabeth. The seminar will be giving dialogue and insights to local business. The theme of this year’s seminar is “Weathering the storm. Getting your business through tough economic times”.
One of the many exciting activities taking place throughout the day is “Your Money Novice Entrepreneur Competition – Powered by Mpesa and NYDA” which is aimed solely at the entrepreneurial youth of Nelson Mandela Bay.
The competition will give young entrepreneurs an opportunity to pitch business ideas in a “Dragons Den” styled event. Fifteen finalists will emerge on the day of which four will be chosen who will walk away with a mentorship programme and will have first preference in receiving a R10 000 grant from NYDA.
The NMB Investor Seminar encourages all creative entrepreneurs of Nelson Mandela Bay to take part in this stimulating opportunity.
Registration will open at 07h30, whilst the seminar will commence at 08h00 and will go on throughout the day ending off with a “beat the traffic” networking session at 17h00.
