NMBT Hosts World Cup Soccer Zone

Nelson Mandela Bay Tourism (NMBT) is feeling the World Cup spirit and has decided to host a fan zone where staff members and 10 lucky members of the public can come down and enjoy the soccer action.

The exclusive soccer zone will be situated in the NMBT building on a constructed soccer pitch with a big screen TV, and will be fully catered. The opening ceremony and opening match will be screened and 10 lucky fans will be chosen to attend the celebration.

Fans wanting to be chosen can enter by going onto Nelson Mandela Bay’s fan page on Facebook and uploading a picture of you flying the South African Flag. Five lucky couples will win a Fan Pack filled with goodies and be invited to the Nelson Mandela Bay soccer zone and enjoy the opening ceremony and match on big screens with all catering included and come celebrate the kick-off!

This exciting initiative by NMBT is just another way that fans are encouraged to ‘feel it in the air’ with only a few days to go before the 2010 FIFA World Cup.
