Radisson Blu Hotel PE host hotel venue for the Spec-Savers Ironman South Africa Expo & Registration

The 2011 Spec-Savers Ironman South Africa Expo and registrations for all four races, the Spec-Savers Ironman South Africa, Iron Girl Fun Run South Africa, Vodacom Corporate Triathlon Challenge powered by Algoa FM and Pritt Ironkids, will take place at host hotel venue, the stylish Radisson Blu Hotel from the 7th to the 11 April 2011.  Radisson Blu Hotel is Port Elizabeth’s latest treasure; its scale and contemporary architecture is already a landmark on the Summerstrand beachfront. It has been some years since Port Elizabeth has been able to offer a five-star, international hospitality brand – and it does so now with great pride and pleasure.

The 2011 Spec-Savers Ironman South Africa Expo offers triathletes and general sports enthusiasts the opportunity to gain first hand knowledge on the latest sports products, and gain valuable expertise from exhibitors on show.  Athletes will be able to purchase a wide variety of products ranging from running shoes to performance nutrition required for endurance sports. Sports trademarks such as 2XU, Orca, Powerbar, Hammer, Asics, Powerbalance, Sunnto, Skinfit and Profile Design are only some of the brands on show at the Ironman Expo.   Scheduled dates and times are as follows, noting that the Expo is closed on the 10th April 2011:

Thursday & Friday (7 & 8th April 2011) from 09h00 to 18h00
Saturday (9th April 2011) from 08h00 to 17h00
Monday (11th April 2011) from 08h00 to 13h00

The Spec-Savers Ironman South Africa Expo runs alongside all the registrations which will be located at the Radisson Blu Hotel PE.  Athletes are able to register, browse the stalls and even purchase some Ironman merchandise.  The Ironman experience will not be complete without a stop at the Spec-Savers Ironman South Africa Expo at host hotel venue – Radisson Blu.
