Beginning 1 November 2025, Safair will operate daily flights between Johannesburg Lanseria and Port Elizabeth, offering travelers a convenient alternative to OR Tambo International. The schedule includes morning and evening departures, tailored to both business and leisure passengers.

By offering direct access to Johannesburg’s northern corridor, the service makes travel more efficient and affordable for both residents and businesses, strengthening regional mobility. This enhanced connectivity is expected to drive tourism, trade, and investment across the Eastern Cape, positioning Gqeberha as a vital gateway to the Garden Route and beyond.
