The beloved Van Stadens Flower Festival is back and in full bloom on Saturday, 27 September 2025, promising a day of vibrant celebration, nature immersion, and community connection at the Van Stadens Wildflower Reserve.

This year’s festival is more than just a springtime gathering—it’s a multi-sensory experience designed to delight adventurers, families, nature lovers, and culture seekers alike. With a rich programme of activities, the festival invites visitors to explore the reserve’s breathtaking biodiversity while enjoying curated entertainment and local flair.

Festival Highlights Include:

• Green Flag Trail Run: Choose between a 15km or 5km trail through wildflower-covered paths. Registration opens at 6:30am.

• Guided Hikes: Expert-led walks exploring medicinal plants, fynbos, and the reserve’s hidden gems.

• Indigenous Plant Sale: Rare and region-specific plants available for purchase—supporting conservation and local biodiversity.

• Tuk Tuk Tours: A scenic, accessible ride through the reserve for those who prefer to explore in comfort.

• Live Entertainment & Wildlife Talks: All-day performances, cultural showcases, and interactive nature demos.

• Picnic in Bloom: Relax under the trees with local food trucks or pre-book a curated picnic at the serene Birdhide.
