Spreading the spirit of 2010

Nelson Mandela Bay Tourism (NMBT) has recently spread their soccer fever to the rest of the Eastern Cape through billboards. The billboards have been strategically placed throughout the Eastern Cape with the main objective to build awareness and encourage the Province to come to Nelson Mandela Bay and experience the soccer fever first hand.
The billboards feature the ‘Feel it in the air’ campaign that the City is using to promote the 2010 FIFA World CupTM. The campaign, which is displayed through different media in and around Nelson Mandela Bay, aims to excite residents and visitors about the World Cup.
The billboards are located on various sites throughout the Eastern Cape which include Queenstown, East London, Kwa Nobuhle, Dutywa and Nelson Mandela Bay. These sites are mainly situated along the N2 and intersections of heavy traffic to maximize the visibility of the billboards.
