SUPPER CLUB’S NEXT EDITION MOVES TO THE WILLOWS RESORT

The 3rd edition of The Supper Club, hosted by Food In PE in collaboration with Harald’s, will take place on Sunday the 27th of August 2017 from 4pm until 7pm at The Willows Resort, an old family favourite right by the coast.

The Supper Club is a pop-up restaurant, which will see a variety of different cuisines presented by some of PE’s most talented food wizards. Guests will be treated to a night of fine food with friends, music and culture. They will enjoy a three-course menu, with delicious wine from Mount Vernon paired with each course, a gin tasting by Fitch & Leedes Bespoke Mixers and live music by Emile Naidu to end it off before guests leave with gift bags filled with special surprises.

The menu is specially created for the night by talented chefs, Tabitha Weyer who founded Friendly Stranger and Ananja Bouwer of the then Colonial Kitchen also in Baakens Valley. Both ladies have since been very involved in the food industry in Port Elizabeth, with Weyer heading up the kitchen at The Willows Resort and Bouwer starting a new catering and events venture called: My Friend & Co.

“The aim of The Supper Club is to showcase the talented chefs who make up the Eastern Cape food scene,” says Tayla Foong, manager of Food In PE. “After chatting to Tabitha about the pop-up concept, it seemed that Willows was the perfect fit for our next Supper Club, something relaxed and a stone throw away from the beautiful coast,” she continues.

Limited tickets to the pop-up restaurant are R450 per head including all meals and drinks. For bookings contact Tayla Foong on 072 687 2778 or email info@foodinpe.co.za. You can also follow the team online by visiting, @supperclubpe on Instagram and Facebook.
