SUPPORTERS OF GEOFF TO HOST SWARTKOPS MUSIC FESTIVAL

PORT ELIZABETH – Family and friends of Port Elizabeth biker, Geoff Dunn (49) have joined forces to host The Swartkops Music Festival on Saturday, 27 May at the Swartkops Hotel starting at 10:00. The festival is in aid of “Supporters of Geoff” who are working around the clock to raise funds for Dunn who was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Fibrosis, a form of leukaemia in October of last year and who seeks urgent medical treatment.
Organisers have arranged for much family entertainment to take place throughout the festival with the music line-up featuring ten local bands and soloists including the likes of Chanel Louise Music, Jon Yawn Allen, The Goodness and Dead End. All artists will perform on a portable stage sponsored by Intense Events and for those who wish to show off their hidden singing talents, Karaoke will be held by none other than Errol Stroud.
There will also be a variety of scrumptious food on sale for those who work up an appetite and for all of the homemade chefs out there, there’ll be a potjie making competition for you to dazzle the crowd with your cooking skills.
Further entertainment includes a jumping castle for the kids, a tattoo stand for the adventurous and many more fun activities for the whole family.
Pre-sold tickets are available at R100. Tickets at the door will be R120 for adults and R20 for children under the age of 12 years. Purchasing a pre-sold ticket gives you entry in various lucky draws.
