THEUNS JORDAAN RETURNS FOR A FESTIVE SHOW AT THE BOARDWALK

Theuns Jordaan returns for a festive show at The Boardwalk

One of the highlights of the holiday entertainment calendar at The Boardwalk is a festive show by sought-after South African singer, Theuns Jordaan. On 20 December 2017, this dynamic Afrikaans singer will be performing some of his older material as well as songs from his more recent albums including Roeper, released in 2012 and his English album, Tribute to the Poets, released in 2013.

“It has become something of a festive season tradition to welcome Theuns Jordaan to our stage. We are delighted to have him back at The Boardwalk Amphitheatre this year. His previous shows have attracted capacity crowds and we encourage his fans to book their tickets sooner rather than later to avoid disappointment,” says Nqobile Majozi, from the Boardwalk’s MarketingDepartment.

Jordaan’s Roeper album features a selection of this loved own original, Afrikaans songs, such as “Honger hart”, “Sal jy bly”, and “Roeper van my hart” whilst Tribute to the Poets has wide appeal amongst English audiences, with an entertaining mix of timeless hits like “Walk the Line”, “Go your own way”, “Father and son”, “Still haven’t found what I am looking for” and “Sweet Caroline”.

Jordaan takes to the Boardwalk’s Amphitheatre stage at 19h30 on 20 December for a festive warm up. Tickets cost R 130 per person and are available from  Westway 041 365 0217
