Nelson Mandela Bay Train Race

Today is the last day for online registration for Sunday's Nelson Mandela Bay Train Race.

The 3rd edition of the Train Race, fueled by Caltex Eastern Cape, starts at 9am on Sunday morning from Port Elizabeth Station with the train and first teams expected at Uitenhage Station from 10:45. Over 150 teams will line up and some 700 passengers have already purchased tickets to be on the train. Each team comprises of 5 runners and a Mountain Bike rider with each doing one stage of the 38km route between Port Elizabeth and Uitenhage.

Final online registration is possible until 5pm this afternoon on www.TrainRace.co.za. Tomorrow between 11am and 3pm all registered teams are requested to collect their race packs from the offices of Love Story in Albany Road. Late manual entries and the final train passenger tickets will also be available at this pre-registration.
