UNIQUE NIGHT RELAY RETURNS NEXT THURSDAY

The Gamble Pharmacy running team heads into Thursday night's final round of the 2015 Town Lodge Business Night Relay as the overwhelming favourites after an unbeaten season so far this year which also included an overwhelming victory at the Nelson Mandela Bay Train Race.
It would be a major surprise to the talented 5 man Gamble Pharmacy team, comprising of some of the country's top young runners, if they were to be upstaged on the night despite a strong challenge being expected from the likes of the Transnet, SPAR Eastern Cape and Sage VIP teams who have all featured on the podium this year. Gamble and SPAR are also expected to field strong mixed teams in the event whilst in the walking category it's the 'Still Dreaming' team from Bluewater Bay Athletics Club that remain in a class of their own and will be extremely hard to beat on the evening
The Town Lodge Business Night Relay is a unique running and walking team building event for local companies which sees participants completing a 3.5km lap inside and around the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in relay format. The fun and excitement for teams comprising of 5 runners or 3 walkers of competing against each other outside of the walk environment has seen the Series become a popular addition to the sporting program during the otherwise quiet winter months.
"The change from a 5km lap to a 3.5km lap this year has been very well received and with our naming sponsor, Town Lodge, having ensured us of their support for 3 years, we are looking forward to seeing the Night Relay grow." said Mike Zoetmulder of Zsports Events, creators of the event.
Late registration for the event is possible from 4pm (Thu) at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium. Racing starts at6pm. See www.BusinessNightRelay.co.za for further information
