EXPERIENCE

1. Day 1

• Leave P.E. to spend morning at ILAM, Rhodes University, hearing the history, lore and significance of traditional African instruments, as well as playing them.

• Break for lunch at Red Door Café. 

• Thereafter a guided tour of the musical instrument factory, with the opportunity to buy some interesting items.

• Rest of the afternoon at leisure. 

• Overnight: St Aidan’s B&B

2. Day 2

• Historic tour of Grahamstown visiting battlefields and museums. 

• Overnight: St Aidan’s B&B

3. Day 3

• Return to PE via Assegaai Lodge and Shamwari Game Reserve
