Description
The Old Post Office is situated at the top of Flemming Street. It was opend in 1900 and was designed by the Public Works Department of the Cape Colonial Government under Mr. H.S. Greaves. Its style is typical of public buildings of the late Victorian era. It later incorporated the former Magistrate's Court building erected in 1885 and the Police Station and Barracks.
