Outeniqua Hop Route

This peaceful and magnificently scenic tourist route incorporates Herold's Bay in the south, pastoral Geelhoutboom on the agricultural outskirts of George, the historic Montagu Pass to Herold and Waboomskraal in the north (home to abundant hops growing which inspired this route) and now also winds it's way to areas of Wilderness and Mossel Bay.

George Airport is just minutes away. Establishments are easily accessible on open roads and petrol and diesel are available along the route. A large shopping Mall is also just a short drive away and beautiful beaches and bays are on your doorstep.
